Drop Doughnuts


Ingredients:

* cooking oil for frying donuts
* 1 1/2 cup flour
* 1/3 cup sugar
* 2 tsp baking powder
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/2 tsp nutmeg
* 1 egg
* 1/2 cup milk
* 2 Tbsp cooking oil
* 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Heat cooking oil in skillet to 375º for frying doughnut balls. In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients. In a small bowl, whisk egg and stir in the milk, 2 Tbsp oil and vanilla. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients and stir until batter is moistened. Drop by teaspoonful into the hot oil, 5 or 6 at a time.
Fry 1 to 2 minutes on each side until deep golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Coat warm doughnuts with cinnamon sugar mixture.

Mix the cinnamon and sugar and coat warm doughnuts.
