6- 28 oz cans Contadina crushed tomatoes in puree
3 large onions, diced
3 cloves garlic, diced
1 T salt
1 T sugar
1 cup grated Locatelli cheese (pecorino romano)
red pepper flakes-dash
Italian flat leaf parsley- handful

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan:
Sweat the onions and garlic in a little olive oil. Add the tomatoes, a little water and the salt. Add the sugar and the Locatelli cheese. Add a dash of red pepper flakes and a handful of chopped parsley. Bring to a simmer and cook for only 15 minutes. This can also be frozen
