3 pound beef chuck or any other economical cut
1 large onion, chopped
1/4 cup vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt/pepper
A good splash of Worcestershire
One packet au jus, prepared

Directions:
Directions:
Place meat in slow cooker, top with onions.

Mix vinegar, garlic, salt/pepper, worstchester sauce and pour over meat. Cook on low 8-10 hours.

Remove meat, shred with forks and strain broth. Combine shredded meat and strained broth.

I divide the recipe in halves.

Meal 1: Mix up the packet of au jus and stir into one half of the recipe. Serve with Pappardelle or homestyle noodles.

Meal 2: Use the second half of the recipe to make beef barley soup.
