• 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
• 2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
• ¼ tsp Pumpkin spice
• 1/2 cup cold butter
• 3/4 cup canned pumpkin
• 1/3 cup buttermilk




BUTTERMILK GLAZE
• 1 c sugar
• 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 c buttermilk
• 1/2 c butter
• 1 Tbsp light corn syrup
• 1 tsp pure vanilla extract ( or Pumpkin spice flavoring if you have it)

• In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Cut in 1/2 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Combine pumpkin and buttermilk; stir into crumb mixture just until moistened.
• Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead 8-10 times. Pat or roll out to 1-in. thickness; spread softened butter on whole surface and then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
• Roll up like cinnamon buns and cut into 1” slices. Place on parchment paper on baking sheet (so that they touch each other)
• Bake at 425° for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown. Make glaze while they are baking; brush over biscuits. Serve warm.

Directions for Glaze:
Mix first 5 ingredients together in a heavy sauce pan or double boiler. Bring ro a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally Take off heat and add flavoring. Let cool a bit, then brush over warm cinnamon buns. If you have left overs it makes an AMAZING syrup for pancakes/waffles
