Notes: "I never liked sweet potatoes much (sorry, Meme) until I went to Lucky Platter in Evanston which made the best sweet potato fries. I went there all the time for barbecue chicken sandwiches topped with swiss cheese and served with a side of those fries. I kept trying to make them at home but they were never as good. Then I asked one day how they made them. Yep, they were fried. Dang it. So I kept experimenting with baking them and this recipe was my favorite. Not as yummy as fried, but a lot easier and healthier. Actually, now I think I like these better." -- Leslie
