Notes: This recipe means a lot to me in the way of family history. My great-grandmother Guloug Lesetmo Hunter came from Norway and eventually settled with her husband in Minnesota. My Grandpa Hunter always spoke with an accent that reflected his mother's Norwegian influence on the Minnesotan accent. Later, my grandparents served a mission to Norway. One of the many things they brought back with them, was this recipe. We have made this an Easter traditional meal at our house. It includes most of the things that makes an Easter dinner wonderful with a Scandinavian twist.
