1 quart butter milk
1 whole chicken cut-up
1 Tablespoon butter
2/3 cup baking mix
11/2 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt or garlic salt
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (if desired)
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Soak chicken in butter milk several hours and drain.

Heat oven to 425, melt butter in a 13x9 glass baking dish.

In a medium bowl, stir together baking mix, paprika, salt, seasoning, and pepper; coat chicken with baking mixture. Place skin side down in heated dish.

Bake 35 minutes. Turn Chicken; Bake about 15 minutes longer or until juices run clear.

(High altitude, Bake 40 minutes. Turn chicken; Bake 20 minutes longer.)
