* 3 cups powdered sugar
* 1 cup chocolate chips
* 2 1/4 cups evaporarted milk
* 3/4 cup butter
* 1 1/2 tsp vanilla

In a sauce pan, mix first 4 ingredients together and bring to a full boil, then turn heat down so it continues to boil and cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add vanilla, let mixture cool, and refrigerate.
 

Cookie Crust

* 1 lb. Oreo cookies, crushed
* 1/3 cup butter, melted
* 1/2 to 1 1/2 cups dry roasted peanuts
* 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, brick style, softened
* 1 8oz. Cool Whip

Directions:

Mix melted butter with crushed Oreo cookies. Lightly press in the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan, and refrigerate until cold. When cookie crust is cold spread softened ice cream on top, freeze until firm. Then top with fudge layer and then peanuts, place in freezer again until firm and then top with cool whip. Freeze dessert overnight.
