Fast and Easy Method:

Buy a box of McCormick Beer Batter
Fish Fry and add a bottle of beer

Homemade method:

1 cup all purpose flour
2 T. garlic powder
2 T. paprika
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. black pepper
1 egg, beaten
1 - 12 oz. bottle beer
8 fillets of cod fish

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in a deep fryer to 365º F.

Rinse fish, pat dry and season with
salt and pepper.
Gradually mix in beer to your dry ingredients.
You should be able to see the fish through
the batter after it has been dipped.
Dip fish fillets into the batter, then drop into
the oil one at a time. Fry fish, turning once,
until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels and serve on bread
of your choice with lettuce and tartar sauce.
