5 cloves garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried basil
1 28 oz can Italian plum tomatoes
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 lb pasta (angel hair or shells work well)

Directions:
Directions:
Saute 5 cloves of chopped garlic in a tablespoon of olive oil on medium heat until tender (not browned). Add the salt, dried oregano, and dried basil and heat for about 30 seconds. Add the can of Italian plum tomatoes and cut into small pieces. Add the black pepper and dry white wine. Bring to a boil to reduce the wine, then simmer for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the pasta (angel hair or shells work well).
