2 cups all purpose flour
¼ cup yogurt
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
½ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. of baking powder
1 tbsp. olive oil
Luke warm water as required

Directions:
Directions:
1.Add all the dry ingredients in a large bowl, all purpose flour, salt, sugar. baking soda, baking powder and mix them together.
2 Now add olive oil and yogurt and mix with your hands.
3 Start adding a little water at a time, to prepare a soft dough. If the dough is sticky add a little oil to your palms and knead the dough which will start coming together.
4. Make a ball from the dough and coat the surface with a little oil in your palms
5 Set the dough aside for about 2 hours in a warm place.
6. After 2 hours, knead the dough al little and divide into 6 - 8 equal portions.
7 Cover the dough balls with a cloth while working with each dough ball
8.Heat a tawa or iron skillet with a handle on medium high heat Do not use a non stick tawa.
9. Flatten the dough portion with a rolling pin to about ¼.in. thickness.
10 If you want to make a Garlic Naan add sliced garlic, cilantro and onion seeds and press with a rolling pin to stick to the dough.
11. Apply water on the side that will stick to the skillet, ensuring that the garlic side is up. Once the dough starts to bubble, flip the skillet or tawa
12. Flip the tawa upside down directly on the flame and roast the top side of the Naan directly on flame till golden brown spots appear..
13. Once both the sides are done, remove the Naan from the tawa with a spatula or a pain of tongs.
14. Apply butter on the warm Naan and cover with kitchen towel to remain moist.
