Ingredients: 1 tsp Canola Oil 1 medium onion, chopped 1 lb. ground beef 1 tsp Dried Garlic,minced Pepper 1 medium jar Chopped Mushrooms, drained 3 tbsp Butter 3 tbsp Flour 1-14 oz. can beef broth 1-10.5 oz. can cream of mushroom soup 2-3 tsp beef base 1 1/3 cup sour cream Salt to taste (if needed)

Directions:Add canola oil to a large pan and sauté onions on medium to high heat until softened. Add ground beef to onions and season with minced garlic, salt, and pepper, Cook until beef is just turning pink. Add mushrooms and finish cooking until beef is cooked through (about 5 minutes). Remove mixture from pan and set aside.
Remove any remaining oil from pan and melt 3 Tbsp butter. Once melted, add the flour and whisk until combined well with butter. Add beef broth and beef base to pan and stir until smooth. Stir in cream of mushroom soup. When mixture begins to thicken stir in the sour cream.
Add the beef back into the pan and mix well. Reduce heat and simmer for about ten minutes.
Be cautious adding salt. The beef base may be plenty.
Serve with noodles or rice. |

Notes: Can substitute ground beef with top sirloin.
If fresh mushrooms are used, either soften them before adding to beef or allow enough cooking time so not to dry out beef.
