3/4 c. salad oil
1 pkg. (10 oz.) Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing Mix
1/2 tsp. dried dill
1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
12-16 oz. plain oyster crackers

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 275ºF.

Whisk together the first five ingredients. Pour over crackers, stirring to coat. Place on baking sheets and bake at 275ºF for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

Mary still has the original, battered copy of this recipe, which appears to have been clipped from a magazine published during the Eisenhower administration. She's made plenty of batches over the years to accommodate the appetite of granddaughter Laura and her many friends. WARNING: These crackers are very addictive!
