White bread for cabbage burgers
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
3 tblsp sugar
2cups warm water
2 tsp.salt
1/4cup cooking oil
5to7 cups flour
Cabbage for burgers:
1large. Head green cabbage
1-2 lbs. hamburger
1 large onion
Salt and pepper to tasteapprox

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in 1/4c warm water. Combine water,sugar,salt ,cooking oil and yeast cool to lukewarm. Add flour to make moderately stiff dough. Knead until smooth and satiny. Let rise in covered bowl in a warm place until double in size. Knead down after each rise;after third rising,roll dough out on floured surface about 1/3 inch thick and cut into squares. Then put 3 to4 T cabbage mixture in center of rolled squares. Bring up 4 side to top,pinching edges together securely. Turn upside down in greased pan. Let rise (about 45 min). Bake at 375 for about 20-25 minutes,until brown. If you are in a hurry hot roll mix maybe used instead of bread dough.
