8 oz (2 sticks) salted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup Matcha Green Tea Latte powder (I used Trader Joe's brand)
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 egg yolk
2 cups all-purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter, matcha powder, and salt. Add vanilla, and egg yolk, and mix well. Scrape sides of bowl. Add flour (1/2 cup at a time), and mix until incorporated. Gather the dough, roll into a log. Wrap the cookie log in parchment paper, then wrap in film. Freeze for 1-2 hours or refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
Unwrap cookie dough, slice into 1/4" slices. Place on a parchment-lined sheet pan and bake at 325º for 15-18 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool to room temp and serve
