8 ears fresh corn
1 c. whipping cream
1 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbs. sugar
white or cayenne pepper
2 Tbs. flour
2 Tbs. butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients, except last two, in pot and bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes.

Blend butter with flour, add to corn, mix well and remove from heat.

Optional: Put finished corn in heat-proof casserole, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and place under broiler until browned.
