3 cups of flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 c shortening
1 c granulated sugar
1 c brown sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.

Sift flour with baking soda and salt, set aside. Mix shortening granulated sugar and brown sugar, add beaten eggs and mix until smooth. Add peanut butter. Add in sifted flour mixture until all ingredients are well mixed into a stiff batter. Add vanilla and incorporate. Form into 1” balls and place on cookie sheet. Press with fork to create crisscross design. Bake for 15-18 mins at 375º
