2lbs of boneless chicken breast, boiled, then shredded
7 tomatillos (peeled & washed)
1/2 yellow onion
2 jalapeño peppers (remove stem & wash)
20 oz sour cream
12 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
18 corn tortillas

Making the Green Salsa: On the stovetop
Bring jalapeños to a boil until cooked & tender. Add whole tomatillos, cook until tender. In a blender, liquify jalapeños, tomatillos, 1/2 raw onion, salt & garlic powder together.

Making the Suiza Sauce:
In a pot, whisk sour cream & green salsa together, boil on low heat until sauce is smooth, add 1/4 c milk if needed.

Preheat oven 350 º

Making the Green Salsa on the stovetop

Making the Suiza Sauce:
In a pot, whisk sour cream & green salsa together. Boil on low heat until sauce is smooth, add 1/4 c milk if needed.

In a 9x12 casserole dish, layer ingredients as listed:
1. Suiza Sauce
2. 6 corn tortillas
3. Shredded chicken
4. Suiza Sauce again
5. Shredded mozzarella cheese
( repeat for 3 layers total)

Cover pan with foil and bake in oven for 35 minutes at 350º. Remove foil and cook for another 5-7 minutes.

Best if served with Spanish rice & black beans.
