6 pork chops of your choice
4 c. bread torn into small pieces
1/2 onion, chopped
4 stalks of celery, chopped
1/2 stick of butter
1 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. water or chicken broth
1 can mushroom soup
1 can milk

In a skillet over medium heat, brown pork chops on both sides in 2 T. oil. Remove from heat and place in the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish. In a small skillet saute onions and celery in butter until done. Remove to a bowl. Add bread, seasonings, onions and celery with butter. Mix together. Stir in water or chicken broth. Put a large spoonful of stuffing on top of pork chops until all the stuffing has been used. Mix together mushroom soup with milk. Pour over stuffed pork chops. Cover with foil. Bake in a 350º oven for 30-45 minutes until done.
