Tart Shell
3/4 cup soft butter
1/4 cup sugar 1 egg yolk
1 cup flour

Filling
2 cups coarsely chopped walnuts
2/3 cup light brown sugar , packed
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup dark corn syrup
2 Tablespoons heavy cream

Directions:
Directions:
For the tart shell beat together all ingredients with an electric mixer. With fingers press mixture into a 9 inch fluted tart shell with a removable bottom. Bake in 375 degree oven for 12 minutes.

Spread walnuts on a cookie sheet and bake in 375 degree oven for 5 minutes. Cool nuts and tart shell. Mix brown sugar, butter and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat until bubbly Add heavy cream and cook until bubbly for 1 minute. Sprinkle nuts in bottom of tart shell and pour butter sugar mixture over . Bake for 10minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from ring after 30 minutes. Refrigerate over night before removing metal bottom .
