3 c flour
2 c sugar
1 t. salt
1 t. soda
1 t. cinnamon
3 large eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c vegetable oil
1 1/2 t. vanilla
8 oz. can crushed pineapple (don't drain)
2 c. chopped bananas
1 c. chopped pecans
shortening

Cream cheese frosting
1/2 c pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Whisk flour and next 4 ingredients, add eggs and oil, stir just til dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in vanilla, pineapple, bananas, and 1 c chopped pecans. Spoon into 3 well greased 9" cake pans. Bake 25-30 minutes. Check with toothpick. Cool 10 minutes on wire racks them remove from pans and cool completely. Frost tops and sides and top with pecans arranged in a circle.
