Brown Sugar Pumpkin Pie Recipe

2 frozen pie crusts
2 T of melted butter
1 cup packed brown sugar (preferably light brown)
1 can of pumpkin puree
3 eggs
1 cup of heavy cream
1/3 cup of sour cream
1 T pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw pie crust.
Preheat oven to 425º.
Mix melted butter, brown sugar, pumpkin puree together until combined.
Add in eggs, heavy cream, sour cream, spices, and vanilla.
Mix thoroughly.
Pour batter into pie shells. Wrap edges of crust in aluminum foil to keep from burning.
Bake for 15 minutes, and then turn the heat down (don't remove the pie) to 350 for another 50 minutes.
Cool for at least 3 hours!

This pie mixture will look VERY thin! That's GOOD!!! It should be slightly jiggly when you take it out of the oven. It will continue to set in the 3 hour cool down time. Serve with whipped cream!
