Ingredients: Chicken 2 chicken breasts cut up into small bite size pieces 2 eggs 1 tsp. of olive oil 1 tbsp. soya sauce 1 cup corn starch 1 tbsp. ginger paste 1 tbsp. garlic paste 1 tbsp. black pepper 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. red chili sauce 3 cups of oil for frying
Sauce 1 tsp chopped garlic 1 tsp. chopped ginger 1 chopped green bell pepper 1 chopped small onion 3 chopped green onion stalks 2 tbsp of oil 1 tsp. paprika 1 tbsp. white vinegar 1 tbsp. tomato sauce 1 tbsp. red sweet chili sauce 1 tbsp. soya sauce 2 tbsp. of corn starch with 4 tbsp. water

Directions:1. Combine all the ingredients for chicken and marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator. 2 Deep fry the chicken pieces in a hot wok until the chicken is golden brown and crispy. 3. Remove from heat and lay on paper towel to remove excess oil. 4. In a saucepan, add 2 tbsp. of oil and add chopped garlic and ginger. 5 Add the white part of green onions, bell peppers and onions and cook for 1 minute. 6 Add the sauces and vinegar and cook. 7.Add corn starch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens. 8 Add the chicken and simmer for about 2 minutes. 9 Garnish with green part of the green onions. 10. Serve with fried rice or noodles. |
