1 box oven ready Lasagne noodles
2 15 oz jar Marinara sauce
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 lb ground beef or sausage browned
Salt and pepper to taste
15 oz container ricotta cheese
4 cups mozzarella cheese shredded and divided
1/2 cup parmigano-Reggiano cheese grated

Pre-heat oven to 375º In a skillet, heat olive oil and brown meat until cooked through, season with salt and pepper
Ina bowl, combine ricotta, 2 cups mozzarella, and Parmigano cheese. Stir well.
Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with non stick cooking spray . Pour one cup of sauce on bottom of the dish. Spread evenly. Place 3 sheets of lasagne side by side (sheets will expand while baking to the ends of the dish.)
Pour 1 cup of sauce and 1/4 of the cheese mixture on the first layer. Top with 1/4 cup mozzarella and 1/3 cup of the cooked meat. Repeat 3 times.
For the fine layer, top with 3 lasagne sheets, add remaining sauce and top with remaining cheese mixture and mozzarella.
Bake for 25 - 30 minutes till hot and bubbly and cheese is browning. Let rest 15 minutes before serving.

* This makes a 9 x 13 pan. To make a 9 inch pan, use 1 (3/4 cup at a time) large jar Marinara sauce, and only 2/3 of the ground beef, and cheese mixture©

I used to make this with regular lasagna noodles, but find the oven ready lasagne sheets easier to work with. You can make with the regualar lasagna noodles but need to add a few cups water to the sauce. It is a guessing game how much water and mine often times came out soupy.
