Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef
3 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons oregano
1 1/2 cups water
1 celery stalk
1 small onion
4 ounces ground beef suet
1 clove garlic
2 - 15 3/4 ounces cans of chili beans - hot or mild
1 tablespoon of vinegar
Salt

Garnish
Oyster crackers
Chopped Onions
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Sour Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Slowly brown beef in skillet. Add chili powder, cumin, and oregano. Let simmer for about 5 minutes. Add water.

Cut celery and onion into small pieces - puree in a food processor or electric blender. Melt suet in skilled, add garlic, and pureed vegetables. Cook over low heat for about 30 minutes. Drain. Add strained mixture (flavored suet) to the meat mixture.

Cover and bake in a 250-degree oven for 2 to 3 hours or longer so the seasoning will slowly permeate the meat. Stir occasionally.

Heat beans and their liquid and vinegar together in a saucepan for 30 minutes just before serving. Salt to taste.

Ladle beans in a soup bowl. Add meat to the center of the beans. There should be twice as many beans as meat.

Add desired toppings.
