1 head iceberg lettuce, torn into small pieces
3 ribs celery, thinly sliced, chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, diced
2 green onions, minced
9 strips of bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1 10-oz package of frozen peas, thawed
1 1/2 c mayonnaise
3/4 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Place greens in a large glass bowl. Create one layer each of celery, green pepper, green onions, bacon and peas over the lettuce. Spread mayo evenly over the peas. Cover the top completely to the edge of the bowl. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
