1/2 c margarine
1/4 c shortening
1/4 c molasses
2 3/4 c flour
1 egg
2 t baking soda
1/2 t ground ginger
1 T cinnamon
1/2 t salt
1 c sugar (plus more to roll cookies in)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix margarine and shortening. Add sugar, molasses and egg. Add in flour and spices. Form into 1 - 1 1/2 inch balls. Roll in sugar and place on baking sheets. Bake at 375º for 10 - 11 minutes. Let cookies set for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
