3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
2 sticks butter (softened)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg
8 oz. sour cream
1/4 tsp. baking soda
6 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and butter. Add vanilla, eggs, and sour cream. Dissolve baking soda in 1 T. water. Add to bowl and mix well. Mix in remaining dry ingredients. Bake at 350º in a greased angle food cake pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Can lay a piece of foil over the top if it starts to get too dark.
