1 /4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup raisins
1 cup apple sauce
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine, add brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.
Beat until well blended. Stir in flour, applesauce and baking soda. Beat well. Add raisins.
Pour into lightly greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 loaf pan.
Bake in 350 degree F oven for 1 1/2 hrs
Frost is desired
