½ cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
⅓ cup Hershey's Cocoa Powder
⅛ teaspoon salt
3 cups whole milk
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and salt in 2-quart saucepan. Gradually stir in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir one minute.

Add egg yolks gradually into hot mixture.

Boil and stir one minute, remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

Pour into dessert dishes.

I always add a topping of Cool Whip when ready to serve.
