1 pie crust - make your own crust or buy one (Pillsbury)
1 onion sliced into thin rings; separate the rings
Kraft white American cheese slices


Directions:

Bake pie crust and when almost done, take out of oven and place thin slices of onion all around the bottom. Place 1 slice of cheese in center over onions. Place more cheese slices at an angle, overlapping and going up the sides of the crust. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes or until the cheese melts.

This is a dish that Mom, (Lillian) used to make. It took a couple of tries, but I think this recipe is accurate!
