16 sea scallops, rinsed and drained
5 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped onions
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup bread crumbs
1 cup mushrooms
1 1/2 cups celery





Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

Place scallops, melted butter, onions in a bowl. Season with salt, and pepper. Stir gently to combine. Transfer to a casserole dish.

In a separate bowl, combine
1/4 cup margarine
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
Cook to make a white sauce. When thickened, add scallops and vegetables. Put in buttered casserole dish.
Topping:
1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated cheese
Bake in preheated oven until crumbs are brown and scallops are done, about 11 to 14 minutes.
