3 -4 cucumbers, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced

¾ cup evaporated milk
½ cup sugar
about ¼ cup vinegar (to taste)

Directions:
Peel Cucumbers , Slice very thinly and cover with 1 tsp salt. Press with a heavy weight for 2 hours.

In a small bowl, stir together the evaporated milk and sugar.
Add vinegar a little at a time until well blended and starts to thicken some. Add more vinegar if needed to taste for sweet/sour you prefer.

Squeeze the cucumbers and onions by hand and add to the sauce mixture. Chill until serving time.
Good for several days
