2 lb pork shoulder
1 pkg Char Siu seasoning
6 oz Coco Rico
½ tsp 5-spice
½ tsp dried garlic
½ tsp white pepper
1 ½ tsp sesame oil
1 tsp chicken/mushroom powder (optional)
1 tbsp rice cooking wine
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 ½ tbsp honey
½ tbsp hoisin sauce
2 drops red food coloring

Directions:

1) Combine all ingredients, mixing well. Cut pork into 1 – 1 ½” strips. Marinade the pork at least 30 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate overnight.
2) Slowly cook the marinated pork in sauce at low heat for 40-50 minutes.
3) Broil or BBQ the cooked pork (broil: 5-10 minutes each size at 400°F). Add sauce to the top of the meat frequently while cooking. Cook until the meat turns dark and smells good.
4) Serve with white rice, rice vermicelli, French bread (baguette), or egg noodles, and vegetables or salads.
