10 Pasilla Peppers
3 Cloves Garlic
2 Bananas, very ripe
1 Abuelita chocolate round
¼ White Onion
4 Prunes
9 shakes of Cumin (dash)
11 shakes of Cinnamon (dash)
4-5 cups of Water, divided, as needed
2 Tbsp Sugar, any kind
Salt to taste

Boil the Pasilla Peppers.
Remove the seeds.
Put Peppers in blender with garlic, onion, bananas, chocolate, cumin, cinnamon and prunes.
Add 2-3 cups of water and blend together until smooth.
(It may be necessary to do this in batches depending on the size of your blender, using more water as necessary).
Strain mixture to remove chunks.
Re-blend the bits from the strainer and then strain again to gain as much of the mixture as possible.
Add sauce to pan and cook until it just comes to a boil.
Add sugar to mixture in pan.
Add salt to taste.
Once the mixture comes to a boil allow it to stay at a boil for about 5 minutes.
Then turn off the heat and let the sauce cool.
Once cooled the Sauce can be placed in the refrigerator or into the freezer for a few months.
