2 Tbsp. Shortening
1 qt. Potatoes, peeled and diced
2 c. Milk
1 Tbsp. Flour
1 c. Grated Cheese
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. White Pepper
Few Breadcrumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Cut potatoes in about 1 1/2 in pieces. Boil carefully in boiling salted water. When done, drain and pour into greased fireproof dish. Blend shortening and flour in saucepan over fire. Add milk, stir till boiling. Add cheese and seasonings. Pour over potatoes; grate a little cheese over top. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and bake 5 minutes in 350º oven.
