4 c. lg. Onions, sliced thin
1/2 c. Butter
1/4 tsp. Pepper
2 2/3 c. canned Bouillon
2 2/3 c. Water
3 tsp. Salt
5 Rounds Toast
2 Tbsp. Grated Parmesan Cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onion in butter until rich, golden brown. Sprinkle with pepper while cooking. Boil water and bouillon in kettle. Add onions and salt. Simmer 30 minutes in the covered kettle. Place a round toast in each individual soup dish and pour soup over toast. Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
