1 Tbsp. Shortening
1 tsp. Mustard
1 tsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. White Pepper
2 Eggs
4 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1 c. Whipped Cream
1 qt. Apples, chopped
1 pt. Celery, diced
1 1/2 c. Almonds, shredded
2/3 c. Pecans, rolled

Directions:
Directions:
Mix apples, celery and nut meats. Melt shortening. Add mustard, sugar, salt, pepper, well beaten egg yolks, and lemon juice. Cook in double boiler until it thickens. Then add stiffly beaten egg whites. Chill and add whipped cream just before serving. Mix with fruit and nuts.
