1 head shredded cabbage
1 grated onion
½ cup pickle relish
1 Tbsp horseradish
½ cup mayonnaise
½ cup white bottle dressing
salt and pepper to taste

Optional: grated carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, red or green peppers.

Mix cabbage, onion and pickles. In another bowl, mix horseradish, mayonnaise, and dressing together. Add to vegetable mixture.

My Mom did not use a knife to shred the cabbage, she used a vegetable peeler. The slaw turned out very fine and no large chunks of cabbage.
