1 yellow or chocolate cake - baked as directed on box.
1 small box of jello (cherry or strawberry)
3/4 c. boiling water
1/2 c. cold water
1 8 oz. container Cool Whip
1 c. cold milk
1 small box of instant pudding - vanilla or chocolate

Directions:
Poke holes into the cake with a round straw every 2 inches. Mix together jello with water. Slowly pour over cake allowing to soak into holes. Mix together cool whip, milk, and pudding. Ice the top of the cake. Chill for at least 1 hour before eating.
