1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
3 c. milk
1 8 oz. container of Cool Whip
1 box graham crackers

Make topping first; melt butter, add sugar, cocoa, and 1/4 c. milk. Mix and boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add salt and vanilla. Set aside to cool. Mix pudding and 3 c.milk together. Fold in cool whip. In a 9 x 13 pan put layer of whole crackers, then layer of pudding. Alternate until you have 4 layers of crackers and 3 layers of pudding (ending with crackers on top). Pour chocolate icing on top and refrigerate until chilled. It is better if left overnight.
