1 lb. Fresh Bread
2 Onions, small
1 Egg
1/2 c. Celery, chopped
2 Tbsp. Chicken Fat
1/2 c. Milk
1/4 tsp. Sage
1 Tbsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Grind or cut fresh bread rather fine. Chop onions and celery fine. Combine sage, salt, bread and onions. Melt fat and add to mixture. Beat egg and add milk and combine with other ingredients. Pile lightly in oiled pan. Steam in one of the following methods: 1) pressure cooker 10 minutes or without pressure for 30 minutes; 2) Hot water bath in 350º oven for 30 minutes; or 3) Steam in top of double boiler for 30 minutes.
