Ingredients:

3 pounds of hamburger
½ to one whole white onion diced
½ to ¾ cup milk
2 eggs beaten
1 Cup ketchup
1½ Cups oats ( rolled non-instant)
salt and pepper to taste
Options are adding chopped green pepper and garlic


Topping for Meat Loaf
1 Tablespoon or more ketchup
1 Teaspoon mustard
1 Teaspoon vinegar
½ Cup brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all of the above ingredients and put in a meal loaf pan or casserole dish.
Combine the topping ingredients, adding more sugar or ketchup if needed to cover the meat completely.

Bake at 350º for 45 minutes to an hour.
