Ingredients: 1 lb. lean ground beef 2 tbsp. olive oil Pasta Sauce- see under the sauces ( you can substitute with store bought pasta sauce) 1 bottle of store bought Pasta sauce. 1 tsp. garlic paste 1 finely diced onion ½ tsp. black pepper 1 tsp.. vinegar ½ tsp. dried basil 1 tsp. dried oregano 1 small green bell pepper sliced 5 sliced mushrooms (optional) ¼ tsp. of oregano 2 Tbsp. fresh chopped parsley 1 lb. of any Pasta 2 tbsp. olive oil 3 cloves of fresh chopped garlic

Directions:Pasta Sauce 1. Fry diced onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent. 2. Add the meat and dry spices and cook until meat has browned. 3. Add the pasta sauce and stir frequently for 10 minutes on medium heat. 4. Add chopped vegetables and cook for about 10 minutes. 5 Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer 6. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Pasta 1 Boil water in a large pot. To ensure that pasta doesn't stick together, use at least 4 quarts of water for every pound of noodles and drizzle a little olive oil. 2. Add 2 tsp. of salt to the water. 3. Cook the pasta al dente, which is slightly undercooked. 4. Drain the pasta in a colander under cold running water. 5. In a large saucepan, add 2 tbsp. of olive oil and add chopped garlic. 6 Add the pasta and mix well to ensure that it is coated with olive oil and garlic 7 Serve with the sauce. |
