Ingredients:

1 Qt fruit or 6 Cups
1 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 Cup sugar
2 Cups flour
2 Tsp baking powder
1/2 Tsp salt
1/3 Cup butter cut into little pats
1 Cup milk

Directions:

Grease a 9 X 13 pan.
Sprinkle lemon juice over fruit

Pour fruit into pan

Mix batter and spread over fruit all the way to the edge.

1 1/2 Cup sugar
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1/2 Tsp salt
1 1/2 Cup boiling water

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients and sprinkle over batter.

Pour boiling water over all.

Bake at 350 until golden brown.

This recipe is from my long time BFF, Helen Hicks. After 40 years we connected on Facebook through my other long time BFF, Margy Kincy. One of the most amazing things that has ever happened to me!

She said that you can also use berries in this cobbler..any kind or mixed.
