2 packets of prawns or shrimp (You can use raw deveined or cooked)
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 onions chopped onions
1 tomato chopped
2 tbsp. of lemon juice
1 tbsp. of garlic paste
1 tbsp. of ginger paste
½ tsp. of green chili paste
1 tap of cilantro chutney
1 tsp. of salt
1 tsp. cumin and coriander powder
½ tsp. of turmeric powder
1 cinnamon stick
3 cardamom pods
4 cloves
2 tbsp. of tomato paste
1 green chili (optional)
½ bunch of cilantro
½ tsp. garam masala

Directions:
Directions:
1) Marinate shrimps or prawns with garlic, ginger, salt, green chutney and coriander chutney and keep aside for 30 minutes.
2) Heat olive oil and add cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves.
3) Fry onions until golden brown and then add the tomatoes until they are softened.
4) Add the tomato paste and cook for about 5 minutes.
5) Add the remaining spices, turmeric powder, cumin and coriander powder and 1 tsp of lemon juice.
5) Add the shrimp or prawns cook for another 10 minutes or until they are pink in colour stirring well to get the spices coated.
6) Sprinkle ½ tsp. of garam masala
7) Turn the heat to low and simmer until the oil separates.


Serve the prawn or shrimp curry with Naan, Chapatis, Roti or Rice and Kachumber.
