1/2 C extra virgin Olive Oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
3-5 TBS of Za'atar seasoning (you can get this at Whole Foods) Indian section
1 tsp onion powder
4 large pitas- can be any kind; plain, whole wheat, multigrain
Salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 375º

Heat olive oil and garlic in a small skillet over low heat. Cook about a minute and shut heat off. Allow to sit - about 10 minutes, and garlic to infuse the oil
add the za'atar and onion spices and set aside

Cut pita into triangle pieces that will be your pita chip and arrange the pieces on a baking sheet

Baste the pita chips generously with the oil mixture. Salt and pepper the chips

Bake the chips about 5 minutes and then flip the chips so they cook on both sides. continue cooking about another 5 to 10 min until ehte chips are crisp and brown.

Remove chips to cooling rack
When cool put into a container and keep until serving.

Serve with Baba Ghanoush, or with Tazatziki

You wont want to eat store chips after this. It is easy and so wonderful

When served at a party, everyone loves it. Can be made a couple of days ahead and are so yummy and it is easier than you think.
