4 - 5 large potatoes - peeled and cut up in bite size pieces
1 packet frozen tilapia, sole or cod
½ bunch of cilantro - chopped
1 tbsp. garlic paste
1 tbsp. ginger paste
2 tsp salt
1 tsp green chutney
1 tsp cilantro chutney
½ cup of lemon juice
1 tsp of garam masala
3 eggs
1 cup bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
1) In a saucepan cover the potatoes with water and 1 tsp of salt and cook until tender but still firm.
2) Drain the water and mash the potatoes with a potato masher.
3) Run water over the frozen fish and cut the pieces in half.
4) In a saucepan, add fish, garlic and ginger paste, 1 tsp of salt, green and coriander chutney and lemon juice. On medium heat, boil the fish until it is soft and most of the liquid has evaporated.
5) Add the fish and a little left over thickened liquid to the potatoes.
6) Add the chopped cilantro and garam masala and mix well
7) Taste the mixture for salt and spiciness. Add more green chutney and salt according to your taste.
8) Using your palms make flat patties, dip in bread crumbs and lay on a tray.
9) Beat the eggs slightly.
9) Heat oil in a large frying pan.
10) Dip the patty in egg mixture and fry until golden brown. Turn over with a spatula.

Serve with tamarind chutney and salad.
