6 oz. Uncle Bens Long Grain & Wild Rice
2 Cups chopped cooked chicken
⅓ chopped onion
¼ Cup butter
⅓ Cup flour
1 tsp. salt and dash of pepper
1 Cup half and half cream
1 Cup chicken broth
⅓ Cup chopped pimento
¼ Cup chopped parsley
3 Tbsp. chopped blanched almond

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rice according to direction
Saute onion in butter
Blend in flour, salt and pepper
Stir in half and half cream and chicken broth

Stir constantly until thickened
Combine sauce with cooked rice mixture, chopped pimento and chopped parsley, cooked chicken and almonds.

Pour into 2 qt. casserole
Bake 30 minutes at 425 º
