1 lb. beef
1 lb. Italian sausage
2 tsp garlic salt
1½ tsp oregano leaves
2 cup cottage cheese
12 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
28 oz. whole tomatoes
12 oz. tomatoe paste
1 tsp basil leaves
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
12 oz. lasagna nooddles

Directions:
Directions:
1) Brown meat and drain fat. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic salt, oregano leaves, and basil leaves. Heat to boiling stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.

2) Stir together cottage cheese and parmesan cheese.

3) Assemble as follows: small amount of meat sauce in the bottom of an ungreased pan, then alternate layers of noodles, meat sauce, cheese mixture, and finally shredded mozzarella cheese.

4) Bake uncovered at 350º for 45 minutes.
